HOW YOU'LL IMPACT.
Process-driven accounting excellence. You analyze and optimize our accounting processes within our current ERP environment, including continuous enhancement. You view accounting not in isolation, but as an integrated end-to-end process across the entire finance value chain.
ERP development and system integration. You work closely with our ERP Product Owners, translate accounting requirements into functional specifications, and support implementation within the broader system landscape. You ensure standardized, well-documented, and future-proof processes, particularly in view of potential SAP structures or future system migrations.
Accounting and governance expertise. You act as a trusted contact for complex accounting matters under HGB and, where required, support US GAAP-related topics. You ensure that all process adjustments remain fully aligned with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.
Cross-functional collaboration. You serve as the link between Accounting, Controlling, BCG Finance, and external advisors. You establish clear responsibilities, structured coordination, and efficient workflows in cross-functional initiatives.
Standards and documentation. You further develop our Accounting Manual, prepare functional concepts and process documentation, and contribute to establishing consistent finance standards across the group. Your goal is to create sustainable and scalable solutions.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING.
You hold a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Business Informatics, or a comparable field with a focus on Accounting, Finance, or Financial Reporting, and bring several years of professional experience in accounting, ideally within an international environment or audit.
You bring strong expertise in HGB accounting standards and ideally initial exposure to US GAAP, combined with the ability to apply regulatory requirements in a structured and pragmatic way.
You have experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or comparable platforms, and understand how accounting requirements translate into scalable system solutions. Experience with system optimizations or finance process improvements is a plus.
You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured approach to process design, documentation, and continuous improvement.
You communicate clearly and confidently across finance, controlling, and cross-functional stakeholders, building alignment and ensuring efficient collaboration.
You show high ownership and initiative, combine conceptual thinking with a hands-on mindset, thrive in an international environment, and demonstrate excellent communication skills in English.
